The work

Wounded, pierced, yet still capable of flowering.

Unconquered Heart stands as a testament to resilience. This sculpture embodies the idea that a heart, though worn and punctured by the many spears of life’s challenges, remains standing. Each piercing, rather than destroying it, becomes a support that holds it upright. Atop this enduring heart, a golden flower with a red stone blooms, symbolizing new life and the promise of renewal. Beneath it all, the sculpture rests on petrified wood, a reminder of ancient roots and the deep history that underlies every struggle. In this work, the heart remains unconquered, carrying both the wounds and the hope of a new beginning.

Contemporary art is an argument, a conversation, sometimes a conflict. It asks questions and invites a response. Without that dialogue, it stops engaging with the present and becomes a reproduction of the past.
