The Greed explores the moment when desire distorts form and intention. A weathered piece of driftwood shaped by craft long ago and carried ashore by time rises within a stone enclosure, its contours heightened with metallic tones that reveal both history and hunger. In its silhouette, a creature seems to emerge, part-beast, part-fish, drawn upward toward a glimmer of gold. A curved metal element hovers like a hook, suggesting a lure that captures the impulse to take more than one needs. In this suspended moment, the sculpture reflects how longing can turn instinct into entrapment, and how the pursuit of the shining object can pull even the strongest form off its natural path.
